This year's event will follow that of the past in celebrating four days of fun on the water in the sports of Wave sailing, Kite surfing and Stand Up Paddling.

Adding to the excitement this year, the contest will also comprise the Kite Wave Nationals championships. This event is being run in conjunction with Kiteboarding Australia.

Although the kite surfing section of this years Classic will incorporate the Kite Wave Nationals, participants can be assured that the event format will remain unchanged. In other words there will still be the expressionsession format where participants go out whenever they feel like the conditions suit their ability so the event remains for ALL LEVELS with the emphasis on fun and waves.
